REACT is an all volunteer, not for profit, 501(c)(3) community service organization dedicated to providing public service and emergency communications to our community.
Radio Emergency Associated Communications Teams (REACT) are volunteers who are organized locally and internationally through REACT International Inc. The primary goal of REACT is to provide an around the clock monitoring system on Citizens Band Radio Channel 9, General Mobile Radio Service UHF 450.675, amateur, and other radio services.
Members also provide services to motorists, local government, and the community. This can range from helping a driver with directions or changing a flat tire, to coordinating communications and ensuring the safety of participants in marathons or parades. REACT also participates in local disaster preparedness through cooperative agreements with local government, The American National Red Cross, The Salvation Army, and NOAA. REACT is an active member of the National Volunteer Organizations Active in disasters (NVOAD). For more information on REACT, contact us.
