Our team was asked to become run course marshalls for the Police Pace, an event that helps raise money for the families of fallen heros in the county. The event ran very well. There was one incident of a participant falling on the course. Unit 687, who witnessed the fall, contacted Control and made them aware of the participant who continued to the finish line. Control, being run by Unit 614 keeped an eye out for the participant for about 5 minutes when he spoted him on the ground.
614 made contact with the paramadics located on the scene who eventually took the participant to the hospital. It was later found he was suffering dehydration and that he was in excellent condition later the night.
